ACTION FOR RECEPTION CLASS TEACHERS

We have written today to all schools inviting reception class teachers to central moderation meetings-Judgement Agreement Sessions.

The focus for these sessions will be Communication, Language and Literacy and Creative Development.

It is essential that teachers bring evidence for 3 children (that best represents the abiltiy spectrum working within your school). Each teacher must be prepared to discuss the attainment of the 3 children in their class; teachers should be prepared to share a range of evidence that supports their judgements. For definition of evidence please refer to EYFSP handbook 2008.
