Dear Provider,
As part of the discussions we have had with settings providing the 30 Hours, the financial implications of the funding has been highlighted as a concern. In response to our feedback we have been offered a business support session for any provider working in Medway. The session will be delivered by Ann Van Dyke, Programme Advisor for Childcare Works who have been commissioned by the DfE to support 30 hours policy roll out.
The session will cover:
30 hours of childcare - where are we now?
This workshop provides practitioners with an opportunity to take time to reflect, review and respond to local and national changes, in order to develop flexible, high quality and sustainable provision.
Session aims:
Understand nationally and locally how childcare policy has impacted on supply and demand, and what the future direction of travel may hold
Explore a range of business support ideas, models, tools and resources to support future sustainability and business modelling
Understand provider experiences of what has worked for providers, parents and children, locally and nationally
