Role of SENCo training

Early Years SEND Lead Teacher Tina Arterton is running a Role of SENCo course for practitioners new to the role of SENCO. This will be held on Friday, 6th of July 2018, 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at Medway Council, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham ME4 4TR.

This session will provide an introduction to the knowledge and skills required of a PVI SENCo as required by the SEND Code of Practice 0 to 25 years. It will focus on the roles and responsibilities which need to be undertaken as a SENCo.

* Please note: No refreshments (tea/coffee/lunch) will be provided on the day but there is a café on site where you can buy refreshments.

Please contact Tina Newman to book a SENCo surgery slot with Tina Arterton. These discussions are for those children with complex needs who you are supporting and parents need to be aware their child is being discussed. All the SENCo surgery dates will also be held at Gun Wharf.
